RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Relief and gratitude filled the Blythewood community Friday morning after deputies confirmed that three missing children — 9-year-old Anastasia Bradley, 12-year-old Naomi Bradley, and 10-year-old Lacee Johnson — were found safe.
According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, the children were discovered in the Wilson Boulevard area following an extensive search effort that began early Friday. The three had last been seen around 8 p.m. Thursday night, prompting concern when they were reported missing the following morning at 7 a.m.
Given their young ages, investigators acted quickly, deploying air support and K-9 units to aid in the search. Authorities say several community tips helped lead deputies to the children’s location.
By around 11 a.m., deputies confirmed the children were found unharmed. They are now speaking with the kids to better understand what led to their disappearance.
The Sheriff’s Department expressed appreciation to the public for their assistance, emphasizing how community awareness and timely tips played a key role in bringing the children home safely.
